Clinton Hill Clocks is a full sevice antique clock shop owned and operated by David Sokosh in historic Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.

I service, repair and restore clocks of all ages and makes. I specialize in American clocks made between 1830 and 1950 by makers such as Seth Thomas, Sessions, Gilbert, Welch and New Haven with a special fondness for Brooklyn made Ansonia Clocks .

These green machines use no batteries, produce no pollution and will provide decades of reliable timekeeping with regular service.

Don't buy a new clock, let me restore your vintage timepiece. Many vintage clocks only require basic service to run again.

Clock service rates start at $80.00.

Servicing includes light cleaning, oiling and adjusting the movement, and testing for timekeeping. Any necessary parts are additional.

Clocks should be serviced every two years! Most wear in clocks comes from running them without oil.

Some clocks will require a full cleaning. The movement is taken apart, cleaned, reassembled and then oiled and tested. Cleaning and Servicing starts at $150.00. Any necessary parts are additional.

Clocks that have been heavily used will require a full restoration. This involves taking the movement apart, cleaning it, polishing pivots, replacing worn bushings, reassembly, oiling and testing. Full restoration starts at $225.

All work guaranteed for one year.

Good work takes time! Be prepared for a turnaround time of four to six weeks for basic servicing and twelve weeks or longer for full restorations.
